Prices and figures are taken from public price lists, official documentation, filings or named datasets, and are linked at the bottom of each article with the date we checked them. We do not print numbers we cannot source.
Recurring indexes state their composition, collection method and recalculation schedule. Historical values are never edited retroactively; corrections are appended.
Where a real range exists (for example, app stacks that vary by store), we publish the range and the assumptions, not a single invented number.
